I am an Assistant Professor at the Memorial University's Department of Geography, and direct the Urban Ecology & Analytics Lab.

As an urban ecologist, I am passionate about studying the inter-relationships among spatiotemporal patterns, ecological/environmental processes and functions, and health and well-being of people in urban landscapes towards creating knowledge that can be used to create communities that are sustainable, resilient, healthy, and equitable.

I am also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo, and an Affiliate of the Resilient and Inclusive Cities Lab at the Nanyang Technological University. Prior, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo (2022 - 2023), Sessional Lecturer in the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the Toronto Metropolitan University (2022), and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (2018 - 2021).
